Recently I needed to find a reliable contractor to undertake a large project for my grandmother. She owns a multi-family house and it was in severe disrepair. To make the house livable again, four of the five apartments needed to be completely renovated along with fixing major structural issues. Jim assured me that his team could handle a project of this size. When all was said and done everything was redone down to the studs, engineered beams were put in place to secure the sagging structure, and new exterior stairs were created to make for safe access.
Were it not for studs remodeling I would have had to sell the house for pennies on the dollar and relocate my grandmother. They do the finest work around, and even educated me along the way so I could see the process first hand. It was comforting to see where my money was being spent and why it was done that way. Thanks again for giving my grandmother a safe place to live again.

I’ve previously used Stud’s Remodeling for several smaller jobs including a complete bathroom remodel and couldn’t be happier with my decision to use them for my whole house renovation project. They coordinated all aspects of the project from the very beginning - working with the city to obtain all the permits – all the way through to the final painting and roofing.
They paid attention to so many details, saw potential beyond what currently existed in the house, and helped me maximize my budget to achieve the best possible outcomes. Their level of workmanship is exceptional, and that expectation is carried out by all the subcontractors as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Stud’s Remodeling again, and I’ve referred them to friends and will continue to do so.

" 'The Studs' offered thoughtful advice on replacing appliances in the most cost efficient manner.  They measured, made recommendations, researched the appliances, and worked out a package with a local appliance store.  They scheduled the day to do the replacement.  They came on that day on time.  They took care of disconnecting all of the appliances and even scheduled for the old appliances to be picked up and donated to a charity.  They then carefully installed all of the new appliances.  They came fully prepared for any contingencies as the microwave installation required them to cut existing tile for a proper fit.  They even installed new pendant lighting for me which I hadn't planned on.  They checked in with us a few days later to see that everything worked and looked good….which it did.  They were friendly, courteous, and efficient.  We are planning a bath remodel in the future and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!"

"I called Studs Remodeling and explained what I was looking to have done.  Both Jim and Sean were at my house within a couple of days to provide a quote.  Within a couple of days, they had provided additional information on the door selection - they picked out a door they felt would look good with the house.  They came and began working, making sure everything was square (my previous contractor had botched the job, and neglected to correctly repair the sill).  One item that needed to happen that was additional was the removal of the cement step/slab in front of the door.  This was needed to properly install the door and prevent any damage from the foundation area.  Jim works with many subcontractors and the ones he had do the cement work were awesome as well.  The door does look very nice, as does the entryway.  I am looking forward to remodeling my kitchen next, and will definitely use Studs Remodeling.  Jim has a very keen eye for detail and vision for the finished product."

"Working for Jim and Sean at studs remodeling has been great on many different levels. Starting with scheduling all the subcontractors around each other so we all have adequate time to complete the jobs without working on top of each other. Craftsmanship better than most, puts out a very good product. Takes pride in keeping the job sites clean and always pays on time. I wish I had 5 more contractors like them."

"I am a REALTOR and have worked with Studs Remodeling for over three years on about ten projects from a small job installing a divider at a condo complex to a full renovation of a million dollar lakefront home. They have the skills, staff, and tools to take on large and complicated projects and will do it on-time - I can vouch for this since I've seen it first hand. They work extremely hard and stay focused to meet deadlines. I have represented them in the purchase and sale of dilapidated foreclosed home and it's amazing to witness their vision when entering a "helpless" property and then to see the glorious finished product - often incorporating details one will only see in higher end homes such as trey and coffered ceilings, elaborate moldings, and exquisite kitchens. They know the tricks of the trade to add these "extras" on without busting the budget.  They have added baths and bedrooms to a floor plan when most people said "it couldn't be done". This ability to have "vision" is what separates the good from the great in my opinion and they have it.
Client satisfaction is their first and foremost priority. The fact that they are on Angie's list is a testament to this and I know they stay in touch with their clients after the job is done to ensure they are 100% happy with their service and the finished product.  The people that they choose to work with are reputable and meticulous, i.e. electricians, plumbers, siders, roofers, HVAC, etc.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Studs Remodeling and do just that when friends, family and clients are looking for a general contractor/builder."

"We contracted Studs Remodeling to renovate an upstairs bathroom. The old bathroom needed to be completely demolished, and I was initially impressed with how much care Studs took to keep the dust and mess out of the rest of the house. They were also extremely helpful in choosing a design and state-of-the-art materials for the new bathroom to ensure years of trouble-free service without breaking the budget. Their work and that of their subcontractors was timely and of high quality, and we are thrilled with the result. We have more work in mind, and will be calling Studs Remodeling again!"
